Bass X with Julius McKeeBassX is a New Orleans jazz fusion collective led by GRAMMY-nominated sousaphonist Julius McKee. Drawing inspiration from the citys rich musical heritage, the group reimagines traditional jazz through a modern lens, placing the sousaphone at the center of a sound that is both deeply rooted and refreshingly innovative.Featuring a rotating roster of some of New Orleans finest musicians, BassX blends tradition, improvisation, and contemporary influences into dynamic performances driven by groove, collective interaction, and creative exploration. In order to preserve the integrity, quiet and focus of our world class intimate concerts, only the charcuterie, cocktails and soft drinks are available for table service inside the Music Room. However, we encourage you to arrive at least 90 Minutes prior to your showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door, before getting seated in the Music Room for your ticketed showtime.
